This store is the best. My dad was coming into town and I wanted something he would really enjoy and they have pasties all the time. And they were delicious! There are all kinds of different meats as well. They had Venison, Buffalo, and many others. They also have loose leaf tea and so many other cute Michigan gifts.

Truly a great store. Looking for a host gift, and this was the exact right place to get one. We picked out some Michigan cherries, a bottle of maple bacon bourbon barbecue sauce, and a tea towel with the Michigan state bird on it. They carefully wrapped each item in tissue and arranged them in a free gift bag. The workers were helpful and so very nice. Great selection of gifty stuff and a huge selection of wine. I'm gonna go back and get that bottle of spicy honey.

Rhea is a WONDERFUL human - this awesome store is packed with all sorts of goodies - many made in Michigan! Can't wait for my next visit!

Always enjoy stopping in here. Such a great selection of Michigan goods, gifts, and treats. You'll be greeted by kind and friendly folks who are happy to give suggestions or answer any questions you have about products. Highly recommend checking this place out! I'll definitely be back soon.

The store smells so good as soon as you walk in! A beautiful selection of Michigan made gifts! The young lady that works there was very friendly and helpful! They've been open for 12 years! So many different Michigan made gift items to choose from for all ages!

If you're thinking of shopping at, or having a gift basket done at Old Town General Store... Here's your sign to do it! At first, I thought shipping seemed a little pricey, but it was on me for procrastinating at holiday time, so 🤷🏼‍♀️. I ordered a "Michigan basket" (partially based on some they had posted on their site, and partially custom), for my best friend who moved away years ago. They absolutely LOVED it! Rhea and Jamie are absolute gems to work with and they found a little Petoskey stone polishing kit to include for their daughter. I contemplated for half the year what to put in it myself and I'm so glad I went with Old Town General Store in the end!
